Hey, I’m Joshua Walsh — a freelance video editor and VFX artist based in Liverpool.

I’ve worked on high-impact projects for brands like Sony, Adidas And Kodak handling everything from fast-turnaround edits to motion graphics and 3D destruction simulations. I quickly found my passion in visual storytelling by bringing a technical edge to creative storytelling.

I’ve spent years honing my skills in Adobe, Houdini, Maya, Avid and more — whether it's high-pressure editorial work, creating clean visuals, colour grading live sports broadcasts, or jumping into last-minute fixes (yes, I’ve lived the “we’ll fix it in post” life). I’m all about turning vision into reality, fast and with finesse.

This project was a very short turn around. I think it was 26 hours of editing within 3 days but I loved every second of it. It was by first time editing with 16mm film and I learned so much with this.
